How We Started

Maverick is the founder of PrivateDriverBangkok and owner of MySingaporeDriver, a premium ground transportation company with operations across Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
In Bangkok, he specialises in airport transfers across Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang, corporate transport to the Eastern Seaboard including Rayong and the Map Ta Phut industrial corridor, cruise transfers from Laem Chabang, and leisure trips to destinations including Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Ayutthaya.
He built Private Driver Bangkok specifically to solve what most visitors experience here: the language barrier, unpredictable traffic, and the absence of a reliable service you can plan around before you land.
Maverick has been visiting Bangkok for years. There is something about the city that keeps pulling him back. The culture, the food, the energy. It feels different from Singapore. More relaxed, more open, a different pace entirely.
But every visit brought the same frustration at the airport. Drivers who could not communicate in English. Prices that shifted on arrival. No one to reach if something went wrong. He experienced it firsthand and kept hearing the same story from his own clients who had traveled there.
Then the requests started coming in. People who used MySingaporeDriver in Singapore are asking if he could handle their Bangkok trips too. Not a referral to someone else. They wanted the same team, the same standard, the same person on the other end of the phone.
That was the push. In 2025, Maverick established Private Driver Bangkok as a regional brand under the MySingaporeDriver headquarters. The same standards built in Singapore were brought to a different city with different roads, traffic, and challenges. The core idea stays the same: you should be able to plan your transport and trust it to show up.
